"On December 3rd, 2023, we adopted a 8 week old puppy that was named Jane that came from New Mexico. Just wanted to give a little update! Her name is now Sunny Rae. She’s currently in a one dog home as our older dog sadly passed. She is the center of attention with my 3 kids and is being spoiled rotten with cuddles, treats, walks, and puppy playdates. She enjoys walks and playing in shallow water although she’s not brave enough to swim yet. She absolutely loves humans and dogs and her grandma's kitty. She isn’t a fan of car rides but will tolerate them. She started sleeping in our living room by herself and is doing great! She is loved beyond words and we’re so thankful she’s apart of our family. Thank you to everyone at the Dubuque Regional Humane Society who help all these wonderful animals out. Your love and compassion doesn’t go unnoticed!" - Lauren K.
