"My boyfriend and I adopted Nox a year ago and can't imagine our lives without him. We saw him online and loved him, but I wasn't sure I was ready for another dog after the traumatic loss of our new puppy. However, we made an impromptu stop at the Dubuque Regional Humane Society a month later just to look around (with no intentions of adopting yet), but when I saw him still there, I knew he was coming home with us.
Although he's not a huge fan of other dogs, he and his sister have been best friends since day one. When he's not playing with her, he loves to camp, go on walks/horse rides, and most all soak up all the cuddles he can get. He is the sweetest boy and has brought so much joy into our home. I don't know how anyone could have surrendered him and I am thankful we get to be his forever home." - Sydney R.
