"August 29th- the day I first saw sweet 16 year old Mylee’s face on a social media post. After reading a little bit about her, such as being almost completely blind & deaf, I HAD to have her. I immediately left work to head to the Dubuque Regional Humane Society to meet her and it didn’t take long before I knew she was coming home with me. Although she will be turning 17 this November, you would never know it based on her spunky personality. This dog was clearly loved and well taken care of by her previous owner and I hope this post reaches them to give them some comfort or reassurance that she is in good hands should they need it. This dog is so loved by our family and I hope she has many more years with us!"
