"We had to put our 14 year old black lab/grey hound mix down over a year ago due to medical conditions and it has left an empty hole in our home. We have been healing over the year and the weekend before we adopted her we started talking about getting a puppy. We just thought we would look on the Humane Society website to see if there was one that caught our eye. As soon as we saw her picture we knew it was meant to be. We met her and it was a perfect fit.
"Once she got home, she fit right in. She is a hyper, happy well behaved dog. She knows basic commands and loves walks and hikes. Listens very well, loves “to help” as we call it because she has to be involved in everything. Follows the kids along and is curious with everything that they do. Nothing better than a long day of playing and walks to watch her snuggle up for a quick puppy nap. We look forward to many more adventures with her.
