We are a private, publicly supported 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. We have contracts to house the animals from Jo Daviess County, Dubuque County and the City of Dubuque, but we are not a part of the city or county. We do several major fund raising events each year including a Garage Sale in March, “Grand Pet Excursion,” our annual pledged dog walk in June, and a fall dinner/auction in September, followed by our Christmas Appeal (11/1 – 1/1). We could not exist without the donations and fund raising activities.

How "Will" You Be Remembered?
Remember the lost, abandoned, unwanted, and abused animals here at the shelter by including the Dubuque Regional Humane Society when drawing up your Last Will and Testament.
