WANT TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER? If you would like to become a shelter volunteer, we have lots of ways that you can get involved. To get started, fill out our volunteer application and attend one of our Volunteer Orientations held on the first Saturday of each month from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, or the third Thursday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. For more information, contact Ann Lorenz, Community Outreach Coordinator at 563-582-6766, or send an email to ann@dbqhumane.org.  All volunteers must be at least 12.  Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18 or over) at all times.
